- Whipping Boy plan to re-release their much sought after debut album “Submarine” in March. The record was deleted over ten years ago and nigh on impossible to find until now. The album has been remastered and will be available to buy through this website. T-shirts will also be available through the online shop in March.

- The first Dundalk show at the Spirit Store April 7th 2006 has sold out. A second date has been added on April 8th 2006.

- It is announced that the Dublin show is sold out.


SEP 2005:

- Tickets for the Dublin and Cork shows go on sale.

- Whipping Boy appear on the Tom Dunne Radio Show on Today FM to exclusively announce details of the two shows.

- The band meet for the first time in 6 years and agree to do two shows. A further show is added in October. Click here for details.


AUG 2005:

- Irish Promoters MCD contact the band to discuss the possibility of the band reforming for two shows.


FEB 2005:

- Heartworm 'mysteriously' re-appears in the record shops in Ireland, having been officially deleted some years back. Rumours re-surface about the band reforming, as the album sells well, but there has been no contact between the band members in almost 6 years.


APR 2000:

- The final album, "Whipping Boy" is released. With no band to promote it, it receives little promotion, but sells out of its initial pressing of 2,000. No further pressings are planned.


SEP 1999:

- After 11 years together, Whipping Boy split up just after recording their final, self-titled album.
